Is where the rubber meets the road. During these phases, you will work the plan, monitor progress on time and on budget, and control the project with course corrections when needed.

Closing out the project means closing out contracts, archiving documents, reviewing lessons learned, handing it off to Operations, and congratulating team members. It is an important part of any project. Remember the definition of a project—it definitely ends!
